Does your organization or department have a Workplace Improvement Council, Engagement Team, Employee Satisfaction Committee, or something similar? These groups serve an important purpose, and they always begin with good intentions. But they can run into problems quickly.
Typical but not inevitable: Sometimes the effort turns into a time-consuming string of meetings with no visible results. Sometimes a group is established without being empowered, so its good ideas go nowhere. Sometimes the team is filled with strong personalities who bring tightly held beliefs about how things should be done, and the meetings are more like debates. Whatever the reason, the result is all too common: Frustration grows, interest declines, and an important workplace priority begins to fade.

The decisions are converted into a straightforward plan that serves as a combination road map, tracking system, and scorecard.
Staying on track: We maintain close contact with teams — posing questions and providing insights that can help them build on their progress, keeping them up to date on emerging best practices, alerting them to potential pitfalls, helping them steer clear, putting them in touch with similar groups at other organizations so they can learn from each other, and more.
